On Sunday 15th December, Kings Cross Shotokan Karate Club / Total Shotokan Karate attended the JKS Harrow Open Championships!
It was a great end to the year’s competitions for our small squad and a big haul of medals and top performances! A special well done to Patricia, Hana, Kai and Theo for getting on the mats for the first time with KCSKC!
We had some great results again, taking 1st and 2nd in both junior Kata categories with Kai, Jeff, Ash & Hana, Carlos winning the adult junior Kata and Ash fighting like a little lion in his first free fighting event to win his category.
Well done everyone, you all make me very proud with both your technique and spirit on the mats but more importantly your attitude and support for each other off the mats!
Thank you to all the parents who once again brought their kids along and a thank you to Josh Sensei for giving up his time to help coach! Get the Gi back on next time Josh!
