The Kings Cross Shotokan Karate Club members of Total Shotokan Karate had a brilliant day at the AKA Summer Competition on Saturday 11th May 2019.
For most of the competitors it was their first outside competition and they all performed amazingly well and showed a really step forward in their Karate. Competition Karate has many detractors but for me it was a huge catalyst in my development and something I passionately believe helps younger students progress.
I’m so proud of all of our competitors whether you won a trophy or not, as you all performed to the best of your abilities!
Thank you to our friends at the AKA for a brilliantly run event, with a great atmosphere that put the competitors and not the officials first!
