Adam and Dan Sensei spend a fantastic 3 hours training with Dave Hazard Sensei (7th Dan) at Seishinkai Shotokan Karate International’s Honbu Dojo in Hemel Hempstead.
Sensei worked through Tekki Shodan kata, focusing on the journey of each technique rather than the destination (“don’t make shapes!”) followed by one long range and one short range kumite session.
It was great to train with Sensei again, as well as catch up with Malcolm Phipps Sensei (8th Dan) and many friends who we hadn’t seen in some time.
